Top 20 Keepers...

Jumping right in...

#20 - JaVale McGee - CHWK - shot-blocker extraordinaire needs an attitude check in Denver but can be a valuable piece on a JBL team.

#19 - Klay Thompson - IDAHO - the kid could be a focal point in that Warriors offense and has excelled down the stretch. Could be odd man out in Idaho though.

#18 - Tyson Chandler - JDF - 11pg, 10reb, some steals and blocks and 67% shooting? That has to be worth more than his current salary doesn't it?

#17 - Drew Gooden - FRENCH - as much about the keeper price as it is the stats. 14 and 6 isn't too shabby. Question is - can he do it again? The price is worth the risk...

#16 - Paul George - CHWK - He has an all around game and contributes in every fantasy category. He can only get better right?

#15 - DeAndre Jordan - IDAHO - 8 and 8 and 2 blocks. Can he get better? Can he score enough? He's cheap and can anchor one of two center spots in Idaho.

#14 - Kyrie Irving - MONTREAL - The #1 pick in the NBA and JBL Lottery had an awesome rookie year and should get even better next season. Shot 47 and 41...

#13 - Nikola Pekovic - GOLDEN - This beast of a man averaged 13 and 7 in limited minutes this season. Seeing him play in PDX convinced me I had to have him on my fantasy team.

#12 - Jeremy Lin - MONTREAL - Linsanity found a home in NY and on the keeper list. How he makes it work next season in NY is still up for debate.

#11 - Ryan Anderson - FRENCH - 16 and 8 and 40% from downtown while making the most 3's in the NBA? Add in a rock bottom price? Yes please.

#10 - James Harden - IDAHO - he better win 6th man of the year. He's the new Microwave averaging 16-4-4 with good steals and %'s.

#9 - Kris Humphries - YUMA - I thought he would be a flash in the pan. 14 and 11 and 71 blocks proved me wrong. Appears the former Kardashian really can play PF in the NBA.

#8 - Isaiah Thomas - GOLDEN - In 30 games in Golden he's averaged 15 and 5 and shot 47 and 39. This $1 dollar FA signing is fun to watch.

#7 - Ty Lawson - FRENCH - 16 and 6 with 76 steals and good FG%. Yeah, this lightning quick PG fits nicely in Denver's up-tempo system.

#6 - Ramon Sessions - ARCTIC - since joining the Lakers he's averaged 14 and 7 and shot 50 and 53. Wow. Looks like he loves LA. A $1 dollar draft night bargain.

#5 - Ersan Ilyasova - GOLDEN - 13ppg and 9reb and 49/46 for just $6 bucks. And he could move out of MIL and onto greener pastures. Inconsistency still an issue.

#4 - Kenneth Faried - ARCTIC - The Manimal is awesome. A great rookie lottery pick by Arctic. Averaging 10 and 7 in limited minutes this season. Double-double monster next season!

#3 - Marcin Gortat - GOLDEN - 16ppg, 10reb, 90 blks, 56% and a $20 dollar price tag. Now all he needs is Steve Nash to stay in PHX to help him with his stats.

#2 - Serge Ibaka - ARCTIC - 220 blocks. Nuff said.

#1 - Andrew Bynum - IDAHO - 19ppg, 12reb, 109 blocks, 56% shooting. The guy is a $50+ dollar player and Tuna has him locked up for next season. Well done Grills....

Signing off for tonight....

  1. I would like to add a comment to my own post!! I forgot one serious top notch keeper - Ricky Rubio! My apologies to Idaho. Rubio is definitely in the top 20 - and more likely in the top 10.
