Seoul Wins It!

Well, for one person in the top 4, the final night was boring. For the 3 others, it was action packed. Between the Canucks game and the final night of NBA games - my evening was pretty much shot! Congratulations to Phil Woo on winning his 3rd JBL Championship - not that this one was ever in doubt. Mr. Tendex just raised the bar in terms of excellence in the JBL. 1055 is the new standard for 12-team point total excellence. Good luck to all of us ever trying to reach that total again!

2nd place came down to the 3 late games last night. As it turned out, it appears that little used Anthony Morrow was the hero for Golden. His 33 point 12 rebound effort pushed Golden over the top into 2nd place. How close was it though??

Look at these stats...

  1. 1 less rebound for Golden and Arctic gets 4th place
  2. 1 less rebound for Golden and 2 more steals for Chilliwack and the Offs get 2nd and Golden drops to 3rd

So, it's 1 rebound and 2 steals for the Wack and Arctic that will haunt them all summer.

Congrats to Benny's Offs for holding onto 3rd place after losing his All-Stud Jefferson a couple months ago and for being the top-Pershick!!

Congrats to our newest Money Winner - Anthony Grills. For his 1st time ever - Idaho is in the money. I just know that reading that last sentence has sent shivvers up and down the spines of French, Brussels, and Bangkok. That's right you three....Idaho is in the money and you guys are not!!! What the hell is going on in this world!?

The boys on the website are anxiously awaiting my YEAR IN REVIEW...which I worked on a bit today while at work (because countless hours are lost every year in the workplace due to Fantasy Pools - just doing my part). I am reviewing each team - including a summary, best/worst trades, best waiver wire additions, MVP, etc...I started with 12th and have completed up to 9th...will try to do more later and have the REVIEW done by Sunday.

Stay tuned! I will post it here as well - for my loyal readers...Benny and Woo
