Juan de Fuca Responds...

1. What would it mean to the 3-headed Juan de Fuca Management group to win the JBL title this season?

We would be ecstatic! That would call for a 3-man pilgrimage to Juan de Fuca B.C.

2. Give me the final standings this year (top 5)?

I think that it will be between Golden & French, followed by us, Seoul and then Chilliwack.

3. How does this Juan de Fuca team compare to your championship team from 2000?

I think this year's team is pretty similar to our team in 2000 in that we went with a heavy big man lineup and sacrificed ATO to win the other cats. Both years had good depth of mid-range players.

4. What brings your group more pleasure - beating Bangkok or winning another JBL title?

Before the season started we would have definitely said beating Bangkok. But as the season progressed and Bangkok proved to be a sub-par opponent, our goal has shifted to winning a title.

5. What were your best 3 moves (trades/FA/draft picks) of this year?

Drafting Durant and Cousins were probably our best draft moves and Hayward is one of our best FA pickups this year.

6. Who do you plan on bringing back as keepers for next season?

Not sure yet - probably Chandler and Cousins.

7. Will there ever be a day that Juan's 3-headed ownership group splits up and we add additional JBL teams?

Probably not - 3 heads, no brains would just not be the same!

8. What do you guys think of the Rookie Lottery?

It's a good idea. It should be more geared towards helping the bottom teams like it is in the NBA.

9. Do you have any trades/moves that you wish you had made (or hadn't made) in hindsight?

Not accepting a trade offer of Nash for Ricky Rubio a month before Rubio went out for the season.

10. Describe the process you guys have to go through when evaluating a trade offer. And who gets the ultimate say?
All offers are voted on and majority wins. Mac likes to flip a coin for his vote.
